$580,000 FOR UPGRADES AT HARLEY HAMMOND RESERVE

A re-elected Albanese Labor Government would put $580,000 towards delivering female-friendly facilities at Harley Hammond Reserve in Broadford.

Labor Candidate for Nicholls Kim Travers joined Senator for Victoria Jana Stewart to make the announcement, reinforcing Labor’s commitment to building safer, more inclusive sporting facilities for women and girls in regional Victoria.

This election commitment builds on the more than $900,000 already announced by the Albanese Labor Government for upgrades to netball courts and lighting at the reserve.

Harley Hammond Reserve isn’t just a place for sport—it’s a designated Bushfire Place of Last Resort for the Broadford community.

These upgrades will ensure the reserve continues to serve as a safe, functional and inclusive space when locals need it most.

Labor is getting on with the job of delivering real outcomes for Broadford and communities right across Nicholls.

Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
